Donald Trump held a press conference on Tuesday in an effort to convince the media that he donated $6 million to veterans group that he claimed to have raised during a campaign event in January.
It didn’t go well.
First off, Trump announced the names of many of the veterans groups that were awarded donation money, some of which sounded rather shady.
Then when ABC reporter Tom Llamas asked Trump about his tendency to exaggerate like when he claimed to have raised $6 million for veterans when, in fact, he only raised $4.5 million that night.
Llamas: “Mr. Trump, writing a one million dollar check is incredibly generous, but the night of that Iowa fundraiser you said you had raised $6 million. Clearly you had not. Your critics say you tend to exaggerate, you have a problem with the truth. Is this a prime example?”
Trump replied in typical fashion. He once again denied the facts and proceeded to call Llamas a “sleaze” for reporting the facts.
“No, I raised almost $6 million. Some of it didn’t come through, but more money is coming through. The number is probably is going to be when we finish it probably going to be over the $6 million… But what I don’t want is when I raise millions of dollars, have people say, like this sleazy guy right over here from ABC. He’s a sleaze in my book. You’re a sleaze because you know the facts and you know the facts well.”

And that not all. Trump was so worked up desperately trying to defend his lies that he literally dropped the F-word.

“I have never received such bad publicity for doing such a good job,” Trump whined.
Once again, Donald Trump demonstrates that he is too thin-skinned to be president.
