The House GOP tax plan is very likely to fail in the Senate, and the Senate’s version will probably fail in the House, meaning we’ll end this year without any major legislation getting passed under this administration. Trump is partially blaming Arizona Senator Jeff Flake for that, saying that Flake will vote no because he’s not running for re-election, and on Trump’s planet, he’s not running for re-election because he knows Arizona won’t vote for him again, not because he’s had it with the GOP’s acceptance of the unacceptable.
Flake has made no secret of the fact that he can’t stand Trump, including getting caught on a hot mic saying that the GOP is toast if they “become the party of Roy Moore and Donald Trump.” When we combine that with what CNN and Jake Tapper did to him, it’s obvious Trump’s ego is so badly injured that he needs to soothe himself with something. Anything. So he soothed himself not just by throwing another childish tantrum on Twitter, but also by saying he’s our “favorite president.”
Sen. Jeff Flake(y), who is unelectable in the Great State of Arizona (quit race, anemic polls) was caught (purposely) on “mike” saying bad things about your favorite President. He’ll be a NO on tax cuts because his political career anyway is “toast.”

“Favorite president?” There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how ridiculously narcissistic (not to mention untrue) that is. Of course, it’s entirely possible he thinks that if he says things like that enough, he can make it become true.
And Twitter had a field day with it:
You are nobody’s favorite president. I can guarantee that.
