While it certainly seems as though Donald Trump’s complicit family members are also armed with zero conscience and his ridiculously entitled mindset and bigotry, it turns out that some of them do actually have the ability to understand how disgusting the president’s actions are. Trump’s latest fiascos and failing presidency has actually become so bad and caused so much shame, that Trump’s family members are hiding their true identities (wouldn’t you?!).
It turns out that Trump has relatives in southwest Germany who are doing everything they can to distance themselves from their former reality television star relative. The New York Times has just reported that Trump’s cousins, who live in the village of Kallstadt, never say Trump’s full name so that they can avoid any association with him. Instead, they only refer to him as “Donald.” Ursula Trump, who is a bakery owner, was quite blunt in voicing the embarrassment the POTUS has brought to her family overseas. She said:
You can’t choose your relatives, can you?”
Her husband is a distant cousin of Trump’s and she was almost the only German Trump who was willing to even speak about him despite the fact that many others are related to him. Kallstadt’s mayor, Thomas Jaworek, spoke about how large Trump’s extended family is and how common it was to be related to America’s president. He said:
Practically half the village is.”
Jaworek was quick to mention that he himself was NOT related to Trump.
Hatred of Trump runs deep in Kallstadt. Although many of Trump’s Germany-based relatives have been successful and are well-liked, the “Trump” name is never mentioned on marketing materials and the Trump family home is also purposely hidden to avoid any ties to the idiot in the White House. Tourism official Jörg Dörr explained:
We don’t use the name in any way in touristic marketing. The topic is too controversial.”
Trump has shamed his entire family and country. No one wants to be associated with him anymore, and sooner or later Trump’s fan base will feel the same as he continues to walk back his promises.
