Now that Justice Anthony Kennedy has announced his retirement from the Supreme Court, the more level headed side of America has never been more terrified at what Donald Trump might do.
Yesterday, Trump stated that he would be looking to fill Kennedy’s seat as soon as possible, which sent shivers up everyone’s spine as we can only imagine what this country would look like if the Republican Party gained more power. Already, people are freaking out over the possible losses of Roe vs. Wade and marriage equality, to name just a few things that a Trump SCOTUS pick might try to screw up for the country.
The New York Daily News, a paper that has never held its tongue when it comes to Trump, has just released a cover that sums up the entire situation. On the cover, there is an illustration of President Donald Trump depicted as a judge. The image is captured with a phrase that everyone is thinking: “We Are F*#%’D.”
Here’s today’s cover:

We all know that a Supreme Court under Trump’s horrific leadership and lack of morals means a conservative panel of judges that will cater to his agenda. Considering how terrible his choices for his administration staff have been (so bad that most of them are gone), all of us should be petrified of what’s to come.
It’s only been a day after the announcement of Kennedy’s retirement, but already Americans are rooting for the “McConnell Rule,” in which there will be no vote on a Supreme Court nominee in an election year. However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell intends to vote on a nominee in the fall.
Here are some of the panicked reactions:
