Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for adult film star Stormy Daniels, has been singlehandedly destroying Donald Trump and his corrupt legal team ever since Daniels’ story about the $130K in hush money to hide her affair with Trump became public.
On an almost daily basis, Avenatti has made Trump and his minions look like fools, on and off camera. His client’s battle with the President of the United States may be the most notable legal battle of 2018 and could ruin Trump’s plans for a second term in 2020. But Avenatti isn’t stopping there. Last night, Avenatti posted a cryptic tweet that suggested what it would take for someone to run against Trump in 2020. The lawyer posted:
Off topic – the candidate in 2020 better be a take no prisoners street fighter who is prepared to go 15 rounds in a VERY brutal campaign. It will be a cage match like no other in modern times. The future of the republic may depend on it.”
Interestingly enough, those are words similar to how Avenatti previously described himself. And he’s already made it clear that Trump doesn’t scare him at all. Avenatti trashed Trump when said:
“I’m not a guy that was born with a silver spoon in my mouth and a real estate portfolio in Manhattan. I’m a street fighter with an Ivy League degree.”
When Twitter users spotted the similarity, they couldn’t help but get excited about a possible run:
While Avenatti hasn’t confirmed anything, he definitely stated that he was not interested in the role of U.S. Attorney General when someone suggested it.
When Avenatti was asked about the buzz around him running for president, Avenatti said:
As for the response, I am extremely fortunate to have some very strong and passionate supporters who don’t hesitate to tell me what they think.”
