Laura Ingraham is afraid of using public restrooms because there could be a scary person in the stall next to her – someone, not like her. Someone who is not a bigot. Ingraham fits right into her party’s platform by opposing equal rights at every opportunity, such as the Voting Rights Act when it was gutted, so this is nothing new.
On her radio show, Ingraham said sarcastically, “Oh we have a new transgender update for you as well. Oh, no new transgender news for all of you who are bathroom-goers and public — you use public restrooms?”
“I think a lot of people are going to be walking around with just Depends on from now on. They’re just not going to use the bathroom,” the host declared.
“Adult diapers, diapers for everybody. No one’s going to be going to the bathroom. You have little kids, there’s going to be no bathrooms,” she continued to say. “We’re just going to all wear Depends. Everyone will just be happy. Then you’ll be in your own bathroom. Everyone’s bathroom is just their own clothes, OK? So this is what we’re going to go to,” she added.

What Ms. Bigot Pants neglected to mention is that zero trans people have been arrested for sexual misconduct in public restrooms. In contrast, Republicans can’t say the same for those in their own party. Fun fact: More Republican leaders have been indicted for sexual misconduct than trans people, including former GOP lawmakers Bill Hinson, Larry Craig and Bob Allen. And yet, the LGBTQ community has not called for banning Republicans from public restrooms, although, perhaps it should be a thing. We have to think of the children, after all.
Conservatives will follow in the footsteps of their hero, Ted Nugent, and just sh*t all over themselves for freedom. We see a hashtag in the making: #FreedomShits.
But thank you, Laura, for the “transgender update” and we welcome your fair and balanced coverage of Republican misconduct in public restrooms. We’re sure it’s coming. <tap tap tap>
