Donald Trump has tried everything to boost his status in the world through his “America First” agenda, but his attempts have been all for nothing. Trump’s presidency is still failing miserably, his approval rating is still pathetically low, and the United States has become a joke to the rest of the world thanks to his horrific leadership.
Forbes has just released its list of the world’s most powerful people, and Trump is going to be furious to know that he’s not number one — in fact, he didn’t even come in at second place like he did last year. Trump has now been bumped to number three. And in what is probably a direct correlation to having a relationship with Trump, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is now at number two despite topping every one of Forbes’ ‘Most Powerful People’ lists since 2013. It’s not surprising — Trump practically brings everything he touches down, and Putin should be no exception.
Now at number one is Chinese president Xi Jinping, who Forbes said took the “top spot for the first time ever after China’s Congress amended its constitution in March, broadening his influence and eliminating term limits. He enjoys a cult of personality not seen since Chairman Mao.”
Forbes also criticized Trump for being demoted to number three, and stated that just a year into his presidency, Trump “has seen limited success pushing his agenda through a Congress controlled by his own party, is under investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, and can’t shake off scandals arising from his personal and business life.” Ouch!
This is certainly going to ruin Trump’s week, and he was already having a terrible one thanks to Michael Cohen and Rudy Giuliani blowing up his investigation! Forbes’ list is direct proof that Trump is taking America backward and that we are losing our standing in the world. You can see the complete Forbes list here.
