So-called President* Donald Trump took his angry little fingers to Twitter this morning to lash out over the delicious reports that his longtime former personal attorney recorded a conversation with him in September 2016 in which they discussed possible payments to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, who claimed she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and 2007. Trump also falsely claimed (he lied) that recording the conversation is “possibly illegal.”
Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer’s office (early in the morning) – almost unheard of,” It tweeted. “Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client – totally unheard of & perhaps illegal. The good news is that your favorite President did nothing wrong!”

That is, of course, complete bullshit. The FBI did not “break into” his former attorney’s office and New York has a one-party consent law for taping telephone conversations.
So, Michael Cohen’s attorney, Lanny Davis, fired back at Trump and his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.
The strategy of @realdonaldtrump @potus @RudyGiuliani is flawed; just as is #Trump’s false #Twitter statement made against @michaelcohen212 this morning. Rudy claims the tape is “exculpatory”. Why so angry?

On Friday, Giuliani claimed that any tapes Cohen has of conversations with Trump would be “powerful exculpatory evidence” for the President* and we’re not sure how he could possibly arrive at that conclusion. Also, it sounds like Giuliani has knowledge of his client’s conversation regarding the alleged attempt to pay a former Playboy model hush money over their alleged affair, allegedly.
It’s interesting that Stormy Daniels’ attorney, Michael Aventatti, and Michael Cohen’s attorney are both trolling Trump and yet, the former reality show star hasn’t mentioned either one by name. It’s almost as if he’s afraid of them because he’s guilty AF.
